It depends on how much roof you actually see. On a home with broad, street-facing planes the extra thickness and Max Def color depth is visible from the curb and usually worth it. On a low-visibility roof behind mature trees, standard Landmark spends your money better elsewhere — like ventilation or decking repair.
East Texas roofs face sun, heat and seasonal storms. Correct installation, suitable attic ventilation and maintenance all matter. Ask us to review your roof and attic conditions alongside the shingle options; a brand name alone does not determine service life.
Color affects surface temperature, but insulation levels and attic airflow drive what you feel indoors far more. If summer cooling cost is your main concern, we'd rather talk about your ventilation and insulation than steer your color choice.
