Aged Cedar is a coveted material, but takes hundreds of years to grow. Thankfully, we’ve been able to channel the rich, deep shades present in old-growth cedar and make them even more accessible.

Brava Cedar Shake is molded from real hand-split cedar, then color-blended all the way through the tile. Thickness varies from 5/8" to 7/8" to create authentic shadow lines, and tiles come in 5", 7", and 12" widths so crews can install straight courses or a rugged staggered pattern.

Our optional Solid Shake accessory gives the roof a realistic appearance at visible cut edges. These "solids" are recommended for use along rakes (gable ends) and in open valleys.

The Starter is used along the eave line and slope transitions to provide proper coverage for the first row of shake. Each 10 pc/16 lb bundle provides 10 lineal feet of eave or slope transition coverage.

Hip & Ridge caps give a finished appearance at hips and ridges. Shake Hip & Ridge is manufactured in three different slope ranges.
