Veteran Receives New Roof Thanks to Two East Texas Companies

(Jacksonville, Texas) There are so many amazing things that happen here in Texas every day that don’t get the positive attention they deserve.

It’s always so easy to focus on the negative, but when I saw the story of two East Texas companies working together to help out an elderly veteran, I wanted to share the information as quickly as possible.

‘It needed fixing’: 90-year-old Jacksonville veteran gifted new roof

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) – A Jacksonville veteran has a new roof over his head.

“It was leaking, and it needed fixing,” said 90-year-old Shelley Cleaver. Cleaver is a veteran of the Korean War.

Cleaver is a longtime member of the local VFW. Several of his friends saw his roof issues, and they eventually spoke to Yosemite Roofing.
